Why are Core Values important in life and in work?

Values are the “non-negotiables” of how you live and who you want to be while doing it.

When you live and work in alignment with your values you are energised. When you don’t, this creates the inner tension that psychologists call cognitive dissonance. The science shows that, long term, this can take a serious toll on your health and wellbeing, including increased stress and low self-esteem, all the way through to burn-out.

And the benefits in the workplace of aligned values?

When employees feel seen, heard and are given the opportunity to work in alignment with their values and purpose, research shows that they will give of their best to the organisation (avg. +10% productivity).

When leaders lead with integrity and compassion they build loyal teams.

AND when organisations embrace integrity, compassion and individual purpose, they see improved results too.
